Mavis Gewant started studying Western Astrology at the age of 13 and continued to study seriously with New York Astrologer, Jerome Rainville. She became interested in Vedic Numerology when she met her teacher Harish Johari, studying with him for 20 years. In 1996, she officially began her study of Vedic Astrology with many teachers at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam through Vedic Astrology Seminars. Her teachers include, Narendra Desai, Vinay Aditya, Dr. Charak, Mr. Bhatt and Yogi Karve.
